Meet the teacher

Hi, I'm Felicia Besan — a professional violist, performer, and music educator with a deep passion for nurturing the next generation of musicians.Originally from Moldova, I graduated from the George Enescu National Music College in Romania and earned my Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Professional Performance Certificate from Lynn Conservatory of Music on a full scholarship.I currently serve as assistant principal viola with the Palm Beach Symphony and freelance with ensembles across South Florida, including the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, Boca Symphonia, and Florida Grand Opera.As a Suzuki-certified educator, I tailor every lesson to each student's goals and learning style. My former students have gone on to Juilliard, All-State Orchestra, and top performing arts schools in South Florida.I'd love to help your child build confidence, technique, and a lifelong love of music.

Studio Policies🎻 Trial Lessons
A complimentary 15-minute trial lesson is available for all new students to experience the teaching style and ask any questions before enrolling.🎻 Attendance
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if a lesson must be missed. Makeup lessons may be offered when scheduling permits.🎻 Practice
Beginning students are encouraged to practice 10–15 minutes per day, 5 days per week. Consistency is more important than long practice sessions.🎻 Parent Involvement
Parents of younger students are encouraged to observe lessons and support practice at home.🎻 Instruments
Students must have access to an appropriately sized instrument. Instrument recommendations and sizing assistance are available before purchasing or renting.🎻 Virtual Lessons
Online lessons are available via Zoom or FaceTime for students who prefer to learn from home or are unable to attend in person.🎻 Recitals
Optional studio recitals are held periodically throughout the year, giving students a fun and encouraging opportunity to share their progress with family and friends.🎻 Communication

Monthly tuition reserves your weekly lesson time and is due on the 1st of each month. One month's written notice is required to discontinue lessons.
